converters are worth good money. When I used to own a shop, I took maybe 6-8 of them and made over $1k.
Some are worth more than others of course, but most modern ones will pay well.

I knew converters were worth money (precious metals, theft risk on taller vehicles, etc.), but never gave it much thought in this case... Wonder if I could talk a local exhaust shop into deleting my 2nd cat and resonator in exchange for letting them keep the cat... Hmm...

The guy that cut out my 2nd cat tried to keep it. He was a little disappointed when I asked for it back.
