Swift SPEC-R Sport Springs - Mini Cooper R53 3/02-06

Category: Suspension
Price: $300
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R52, R53
Location (Region): West
Item Condition: Brand New

I have my Swift SPEC-R Sport Springs for the R53 for sale. They are still brand new in box, but I have opened the box for pics. These springs are the best you can get for the R53 according to the forum (https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...gs-dynoed.html). I bought these with the idea of putting these on my car, but the wife already thinks stock is bouncy enough , so I'm selling them.

Front: 5 kg/mm, -18mm
Rear: 5.5 kg/mm, -13mm

Have no issues shipping, but buyer pays shipping. Or I can meet you in Park City or Salt Lake City area.

Payments accepted: cash, money order, gifted through Paypal or buyer paid Paypal fees.

These don't make the ride any harsher. I paired them with Bilsteins and the ride quality is much improved, even with Vorshlag camber plates.

Great product! Good luck with the sale.

Yeah, that's what I read too, but my wife is starting to hate the Mini. It's too loud too, so she wants me to get a different car. That, combined with a change in career (one where I have to drive people around), probably means I have to get rid of the Mini . So I don't want to go through the hassle of installing these, when I have to sell it in the near future.

Been trying to get the wife to approve an E60 M5 , any tips are appreciated, hehe.

No, forgot to mention in the ad that these are designed to be used with the stock shocks, but also any aftermarket shocks, like Koni FSD / Yellow or Bilsteins.

While I have not used these on a Mini, I have used the Spec-R on a '08 Subaru Forester Sports XT that I Autocross'd. While they are a bit more firm, it was nothing unbearable. It's a track spring after all and firmness should be expected. Firmness and increased stability without the bobblehead thing.

I also had a set of Sport Springs for my winter suspension and they firmed the suspension up very nicely without any added undue harshness. The difference from OEM and Swifts is night and day.

Swift makes a very fine product and if I decide to change springs on my JCW Mini, Swift will be my Go-To choice.

Good price by the way. It's tempting!

His last post was in 2014.

You can get them on Amazon or feeBay for just a bit more shipped. Love mine and my initial choice was KW Clubsport coilover.
