The key "fob" won't do anybody any good, except for the guy who bought your car (they are vehicle specific). You might consider sending it to whoever bought your car.

As stated above, keys cannot be re-programmed once set to a specific MINI. You should really give that key to the person who bought your car. If I had bought your car I would have wanted both keys if you had them... just saying.
