Factory OE Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 205/45R17 Runflats

Selling 2 factory OE Bridgestone Potenza RE050A-84V 205/45R17 from my 2011 MINI S. These are runflats.
Brand new from Bridgestone they cost $283.99 a tire, and $241 from tirerack. I'll sell them for 100 a piece + shipping (if required to be shipped). Can pick up locally if want to; I live on the Northside of Jacksonville, FL by the airport/river city marketplace. They've got 5/32-6/32 tread left all around the tire with even wear throughout the tread. This comes to 55-66% tread left because brand new they ship with 9/32 tread. They were mainly used as my rear tires for about 28k miles, and only have about 3k miles as my front tires. Overall they have 31,825 miles on them between the front and back. They easily have another 10-15k miles left on them or more depending on how you drive and the type of roads you drive on. They were taken care of very well, and visually appear brand new. Would be great for a couple spare tires, or if you have a pair of run flats that are getting low on tread and want to save some money to replace. This tread clearly exceeds that. I have properly measured the tread with a depth ruler. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ine=1357326783 https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ine=1357326783 |

If you only had 2 more I would have been all over them. I really enjoyed these as the stock tire on my R55. I just wish I could get the sort of miles you were getting at 15-16k mi I was at the wear bars and now at 20k miles I have flat rubber. How conservatively do you drive?
Good luck with the sale. |

Good luck with the sale. I wouldn't say I'm a conservative driver per se; it's just that I live in FL and there are no twisties here to have fun in. It's all flat, straight roads. I drive 80 minutes a day for a round trip commute to work and back, and it's all highway driving cruising at 70 MPH. Which comes to about 400 miles a week or a full gas tank. So the tires get a lot of use and miles, but not necessarily on pavement that will wear them down fast. There just isn't anywhere for me to try and wear the rubber down nor do I spin my tires. For anyone that may be interested in the tires; I take care of my equipment very well and these tires have been cleaned and dressed every weekend as well as been stored in a garage their entire life while on and off the MINI. |
