mistro 01-10-2007 04:03 PM

what info are you looking for? They are open, they are big, they did not strike me as particularily flexible when I was in y purchase mode but they were persistent...

sixblade 01-11-2007 07:23 AM

Yeah i felt that the same, I was looking to purchase in May but they kinda forced my hand for march :P

mistro 01-11-2007 08:11 AM

I ended up getting my Mini elsewhere but if and when I buy again in 2010, I'd talk to them...

I gotcha, sounds very good!

I was there just a few hours ago to and made a deal on an 06 mcs, just waiting on the call from the salesman, waiting if they can swap with another dealr for the car that I want. they are giving me $600 off msrp, and threw in a few accessories. I felt it was a good experience, and low pressure. The service manager admitted that he wants to just move the 2 truck loads of 06's they had in stock.

my car is there right now

yea, they're pretty consistent, and if you're out of warranty they are cheaper than mini of manhattan. I'm actually looking to take my car to an independent repair shop around this area, (closer to bergen county) you guys know of any that have worked on minis before?

I know this thread is a bit old, but I was just there a few days ago and I couldn't reach a deal with them at all. No discount and he had more than a few 06's there. I was very disappointed to say the least because the salesman did tell me they would make do with some accessories. Little did I know he meant some floor mats and MAYBE the bonnet stripes. Come on now, I bought a BMW motocycle (also in Jersey) and the folks there gave me well over 1k in goodies, labor and even money off for the first service. Prestige is a beautiful building in a very affluent area of NJ, it seems that they want to deal with the customers there as if EVERYONE is affluent and not in need of haggling. Now please read, no where did I say they were rude or discourteous, just not the super deal making types that's all.

Mini of Manhattan has a HORRIBLE reputation or so I'm told. Unfortunately I have a buddy who bought several motorcycles from them and this I have from first hand experience, their motorcycle service department is less than stellar unfortunately. This is really a shame because this store is considered to be BMW's flagship in the Northeast. The sales manager and most of the folks there are good people, they just lack in service. (Sorry Manhattan)

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Prestige Mini. From Sales to Service I think they're the best!

Port:
I'm in Staten Island, not far from you in Linden. You could ride straight down Route 1 south towards Princeton Mini, but I think Morristown might be closer to you. Prestige is in north Jersey for SURE. (they are on the borderline of upstate New York)
