Waiting in Salem County

Just a quick note to say "Hi" to everyone in MONJ.

I live in Salem County (Quinton Township), and ordered my first MINI -- an Eclipse Gray MCS -- on 3/29/13 from Mount Laurel MINI. It's replacing a 2003 Ford F150 SVT Lightning in Dark Shadow Gray, so I guess I didn't show much originality in my color choice.

The MCS has been assigned a VIN and is scheduled for production, so now I wait...

Looking forward to sharing the MINI experience with everyone here!

Congrats on the new MINI. Be sure and post pictures when you get it. And keep a watch here on the MONJ forum for rides and events.

Called 866-ASK-MINI & found out that the car was in the paint shop & expected to be finished today!

OMG, my friend's MINI was in the paint shop and finished today as well!

I completely forgot about this thread until I was looking for something else tonight.

After an interminable wait, I finally picked up "Rowan", an MCS Hardtop, from the dealership on 5/17/13. Strange that it took 9 days to cross the Atlantic Ocean and then another 8 days just to go the additional 80 miles from Jersey City to Mount Laurel. :sly:

I took the attached picture just after I arrived at the dealership to take the car home.

Missed this post for several days, somehow.

Sounds like fun, but I'm working that day, then taking the MCS on vacation in the Adirondacks a few days later. I think it's going to be fun to drive on the twisty mountain roads!
