I finally have some new and positive information! Mann Travels has informed me that Virgin Vacations will do a group tour for 10 (at a slightly higher price of course) which means we only need a few more people to make this thing happen!! They are continuing to attempt to get a tour date for either Sept. or Oct. from the plant. They have asked for some specific dates so I have chosen a range of Sept.10-Oct.19. If they want more specific dates, I will have to give them a few.

What I need to know NOW is do those dates work for the folks who have signed up and if not, what dates are not possible for you?

PLEASE, either post a response here or send me a PM ASAP about these dates. Keep your fingers crossed. This thing may come together yet!!!!

Good morning, Eric! Frank and I are some of the "originals" who expressed an interest in going. Things sure have changed since then!!! Frank is retiring and I have applied for jobs in Germany and Texas. If I get either one, we will be moving this summer (June for Germany and July for Texas). If we go to Germany, Frank suggested we try to meet up with you in England...driving Felix, of course! Soooo...until we know about these things , we won't know if we can make it on your wonderful tour.

As a member of the DMC out of Phoenix, I had been set up for the Vegas get together, but had to cancel for work.

So I need to reschedule my vacation and was wondering what the lowdown is on your trip to England? I've always wanted to drive a MiNi in England and Europe.

Thanks for your interest. As of this moment, the status of the trip is still up in the air but not looking good. We still haven't gotten at least 10 people to sign up which we need and we haven't gotten a tour date yet from the plant in the fall. So...if you're wanting to go ahead and plan a vacation, I would suggest not planning on this trip for this year. Sorry. I really wanted to make this happen.
