Free Grille for use of 05 - 06 MC (not MCS) for template
I have a MC grille, but am not pleased with the appearance. I want something more like the MCS grille that I have. It looks much more polished and finshed looking - almost factory like. Anyone with an 05 MC (I think the 06 is the same) who would allow me to remove the front bumper to install a grille, would of course get it for free and it would be installed!
I may come back and get the older MC grilles but they already have a metal mesh grille in the front, whereas the 05's have black plastic (Yuk!).
Go to www.GrilleGuy.com to see what my MCS looks like and to get an idea of what your MC could look like.
This would have to be done on a weekend (Sat or Sun not both) and I would prefer someone who lives close to Charlotte or Winston Salem just for scheduling purposes.
Maybe soon I will make a grille to replace the Aero, but most who buy the Aero kit like the black plastic.
Note: If anyone feels this post is inappropriate on this forum please advise ASAP.
Thanks! Scott (aka The GrilleGuy)

Hey Scott, do you ever make your grilles with a cutout for the factory tow hook? I've seen them on ebay, but didn't want to order something that did not allow for my MINI to be safely towed when necessary. .
I haven't seen your grilles in person, but they look WAY better and are way cheaper than what some people think is the "ultimate" grille

I'll add my .02 cents in by saying Scott's grilles look great, and make a definite improvement over the incredibly cheesy flimsy cheap plastic stock lower grille, which is prone to breaking along the bottom tab.
Scott, you're a stand-up guy and that's a great deal for someone with a MC to trade grilles with you plus installation for free! Someone's going to get a great addition to his/her car!
I've been wondering about a lower grille for the aerokit. I've been scheming for the aerokit for a while, so if you make a grille for it, I'd be very interested. The upper aerogrilles use a diamond cross-hatch pattern as opposed to perforated holes. It would be nice if you offered a lower grille that matched that pattern.

YuccaPatrol:
You could always notch out for the tow hook. I was even thinking of doing it on my Mini and powder coating the hook and leaving it in all the time. A hole saw could be used to give a perfect circle. Also Note my Mini had to be loaded onto a flat bed back in December.. I had them use the tow hook in the rear no biggie. I would not want to start putting the holes in as if I positioned it wrong then the grille would not fit.
Tarzan: I think an aero kit with one of my grilles in the bottom and the standard Cooper upper 2 grilles (horizontal bars in body color and chrome) would look great. Just a thought. I do have a red and a hyper blue upper grille kicking around the basement.

I would be game for a aero grille also.
Question: What's the difference in the two MCS grilles available on your site? They are both 54.99 but I can't tell a difference? Maybe I am just being dense...
Would like to order one just don't know which to select?
