Hangin’ Out At Hendrick!

George has started a cool thing by hanging out at the dealership on Saturdays… I want to continue to do this, but am looking for others to help out. It’s EASY! Be a M2C2 Ambassador!

Saturday mornings – from 10-12 or 11-1 or 12-2 whatever - it's flexible! Just 2 hours time. Hang out, talk with people waiting in service about their MINIs, your MINI, and M2C2. Tell them what’s great about our club – the discounts, the drives, the camaraderie!

Here are the Saturdays thru December... please let me know if you'd like to help. I can fill out the calendar as responeses come in.

Sarah, I'm glad you wish to continue this tradition. I know each of us has recruited new members from the Hendrick MINI showroom, and it will continue to be our biggest source of new members.

Will you be drawing up some business cards?

If we wish to pursue the idea of hilighting our new members with a sticky post, bringing a digital camera for a photograph would be recommended.

I have in my sweaty little hands the box of m2c2 business cards to be handed out.. I'll be turning them over to our new secretary to be distributed with your 2006 membership cards... I'll have her send some extra to Suprcupr for use at the Saturday meet and greets at Hendrick...

 

No Worries! I grabbed a stack of them at the annual meeting. Again, I'll be there this Saturday -- hopefully around 10ish. I'll probably need more and can get them at Eurofest.

...and I'll have a calendar in case anyone wants to let me know what weekend they'd like to help out.

Yes it is and we had been doing it for about 2 years! When the website went down I think we lost the link where you could produce a postcard size info card to put on other MINIs or hand out to people.

I think I've got the pdf file on my backup cd, I'll try and find it and see if we can revive it. Thanks for the reminder.

 

I will be stopping by Hendrick this Saturday also. Old habits are hard to break. I will sign up on the list for a few upcoming Saturdays. Thanks, Sarah for the M2C2 Ambassador idea it's a good one.

I will also have some cards if anyone needs them. I bought my own box of M2C2 cards. I found a printer that will print 500 for $20.00 which is easier than me printing on my own printer.

Smokey is right we have been doing the cards for well over 2 years. Smokey was the first person in the club to come up with the idea and designed and printed them first. They have helped grow the club.

It is, and I have to thank DC Metro MINIs for the idea for the ones we're currently using.

Sorry Smokey, I didn't remember yours, but then, I rarely went on that website we used to have.

 

Well here are the first ones I did. The one on the right was initially for my own use when I'd spot another mini. It had personal contact info etc. Then when the club was first starting up, I switched to the card on the left. Then when the official logo was decided I went with the postcard size that I think we are currently using. Can't find the pdf yet but I haven't given up.

If I am correct John DeCrema saw your cards and took the idea back to the DC club. I think you helped get this idea started. I know I started making cards from your idea.

Hello All,
Saturdays are not the only days for hanging out at Hendrick. Mondays work well.

Miniblu was in need of an alignment. While doing the inspection prior to the alignment the service tech found power steering fluid in the front boots. This lead to the needing a replacement steering rack due to seals leaking.

The folks at Hendrick are taking very good care of Miniblu

Did you notice the fluid level drop in your power steering reservoir? How often do you check? I've established a routine of checking fluids every week.

Great turn-out of M2C2 club members today at Hendrick!

Got to see Luke's new license plate, JCW bits, and window tinting! Got to see MR COOPER's window tinting and side skirts, too.

Nice to meet some other enthusiasts in the lobby, Bernadette, and the "Cattitude" couple from Concord! I hope you guys decide to get involved with our great club.

 

Will anyone be left in Charlotte to hang out this week? That's the 15th.
