Guys,
I might come up. If I do, I think I will just park the car in the lot.
It's filthy and less than perfect, oh yeah didn't register, etc etc...

Hope I can make it.

In an earlier post I mentioned getting together about 6 or 6:30 and going to one of the places next to the Wingate, but no one responded. I'll try a new thread and see if anything happens.

Great report! Congratulations to all for having stunning MINI's when the majority have mundane cars!

I wish I was able to make it to Eurofest. Can't wait to see the pictures.

It was a great show! What fabulous weather! The Friday dinner found 14 of us gathered for an evening of good food and merriment. Thank you, Donna and the management of Joe's!! We had about 18 MINI's show up (about half of which were club members) on Saturday for the show. In addition to the ribbon winners Ed listed, yours truly and my navigator, Crystal, took 3rd place (out of a field of about 45 cars) in the rally on Sunday.

We took a bunch of pics that will soon be posted on the website. I'll post a link when we get them up.

Congrats Eric!

...see all that dirt under your nails is a good way to keep it off the car!

ALL the cars (including non-MINIs) were quite impressive!

I really enjoyed my first Eurofest experience. It's a great show. Congrats to all of the Saturday AND Sunday winners. The club had a good weekend for sure. Anyone know how Per Olof did in the Auto Cross?

I'd like to put in a plug for next year though. I think we should consider staying at the Mariott next year (the official event hotel) where all of the action is to see what it's like. The Wingate Inn is nice but there certainly is no "Eurofest atmosphere" there. In fact when I checked in, the guy at the front desk didn't even seem to know that there was a car show going on. I think that an M2C2 presence at the hotel would be good PR for the club also rather than "secluding ourselves" 5 miles away.

Just something to think about.

Eric
