Well, I just received my deployment orders to go help with Hurricane Katrina relief effort with the Red Cross. Unfortunately I'll be gone over the weekend of the Auto Fair so, George, pass my spots along to the next member on the list.

I'll definately miss the FUn fireworks that are bound to go off... and the Speedway Club dinner, but I feel good about what I going to do, so I'll just have to wait until next year's event.

What I know so far is that I'll be heading to Montgomery, AL tomorrow and deployed from there to one of the Red Cross shelters in the gulf states.

If I get a chance to get on the internet, I'll keep you posted as to what is happening.

Have fun... I know you will, and I'll see you at the Annual meeting.

Just an update.

Loren is going to be unable to attend the AutoFair all day, but plans to stop by for a little bit and say hello.

Our 2 newest members Minicolo and Luther have now been moved into the list of 20.

If anyone that is on the list of 20 is unable to make please let us know. I have a couple of people on the list that I have emailed but not heard back from yet. Please give me an update.

If you think you would like to come please post and I will add you to the waitlist. Our list seems to change every day.

Make sure to bring a folding chair. Hendrick MINI has been kind enough to provide us with bottled water and soft drinks, Pepsi of course because of the Hendrick Motorsports connection. They have also provided us with some giveaways to people that stop by and talk to us about our MINIs.

Remember to let me know if you want to join us for dinner in the Speedway Club. We will also have 2 race tickets to raffle off.

We just had another member in the 20 list have to cancel.

I will be moving Kicksnake up and that will still leave us with 1 opening. This is a great event. It is so important that we fill all 20 spots as a first time club at the AutoFair.
