Charlotte,Gastonia & surrounding area Sighting's
Ok I will start this off, I was going north on I85 today about 5:00PM around Belmont exit when I saw a Pure Silver/Black MC, We both acknowledged each other a couple of times as we passed. Feel free to post when you see one another around town so maybe we can get to know each other in passing.
See Me
I'll add another to the list. I'm in Charlotte and you can find me rolling around the SW Charlotte area mostly. Pretty easy to spot as I am the only all Indi Blue Mini I've seen in the area.

I was in Charlotte picking up a car for my oldest son on the 7th and got behind a black 05 MCS around Monroe. The driver waved and I waved back and he turned off shortly there after. I had hoped to get by the MINI dealer in Charlotte but we ran out of time.
You can see me motoring around the west side of Charlotte in my LY / B (soon to be with black stripes).
Saw a Black with white roof up in Huntersville today - we waved!
Saw a dark silver / black roof over near the coliseum on Friday.

Sightings
I can be seen zipping along 485 to and from Matthews, NC where I work, and Ballantyne where I live. Mine is the 05 B/B MCS white stripes/gray rule.
There are great roads, custom-made for MINI adventuring off of Audrey Kell, Lancaster, and 521 south into South Carolina, and you may catch a glimpse of me exploring and enjoying MOTORING there.
I've spotted a yellow MINI in a driveway behind the Ballantyne area.

Know that area well.
I know the area well Trazan. You can find me over that way when I get a chance zipping around. Old Marvin Rd. and 16 once you get past Waxhaw can be fun. Too bad the area is getting so populated these days. Too many cars on the road much of the time. I grew up in Lancaster and have spent many a day playing on those roads over the years before there was really anything out there.

Great Charles T. What MINI are you driving? Maybe I've spotted you around.
Yesterday I saw a MC black with white roof on Johnson road. It's amazing how you see a cooper with your color scheme your first reaction is, "Hey! There goes one just like mine!" Then, as you start to take a closer look, you notice no two are ever alike...different rims, diff trim, stripes, etc. By the time you're done looking at it, you realize the two cars are nothing alike EXCEPT the color.
I live nearby those roads. Maybe we can hook up.

I live out in the woods on the west side of 521... in the Fort Mill area. I've seen a MCS with blue/white bonnet stripes in Fort Mill at times, and a light green MC as well.
I'll have to watch the Ballentyne area a little closer.

Sightings at Independence & 3rd, Charlotte
I'm an '05 Chili Red & White w/ Union Jack mirror caps. I work in uptown Charlotte and have seen two other Chili Red's at Independence & 3rd. One is like mine but w/ white mirror caps and one is a convertible.
Still get giddy when I see another Mini- just wish I could think fast enough to flash my lights...

I keep planning on trying to make it for the doughnuts some Saturday morning, but something always gets in the way. Next Saturday I'll be at the SEMA show in Indy, so maybe the one after that....?

I saw a Pure Silver/Black MC at Outback in gastonia today and Ialso saw it their a couple weeks ago, It had some sort of rebel flag tag on the front with the names Earl and I think Diana. Anybody know this MC?
See and be seen!
I'm off and running through the Concord area, and then down through uptown Charlotte many days.
Look for the '04 Pepper White MCS with Aero Kit, black (sun)roof with shark fin, MINI driving lights and chrome side-mirrors.
I'm easy to spot going or coming...
German plates on the front [M:MI2004] or [M:KY2054] or [D:VC2042]
...and North Carolina plates on the back [GO MINI!]

Ballantyne here. You can usually see me on Ballantyne Commons, Johnston Road, Rea Road, 485, 77, 521, Lancaster Highway, South Blvd. I guess all around the south end of town. I have an all black 03 S with the exterior chrome package. I did have a checkered flag, but that has since been removed and will be replaced either with another checkered flag or a union jack.
I always see a yellow with a black roof. I try to wave to all--that is if I see you.

Black on Black
Hey! That's great that you've got a Black/Black cooper in the Ballantyne area. Mine is Black/Black with white bonnet stripes/gray rule.
I think it's amazing that no one seems to have black/black coopers when you're out and about, but it seems like every one in a catalog displaying performance parts, aftermarket upgrades, etc. is black/black.
It's just a classy, prestigeous color combination.
This evening on the way down 77 I saw a classic mini with right-hand drive (around 10pm). It was dark outside, so I couldn't tell if it was brg or dark blue or something else dark, but it had bonnet stripes and a dealership window sticker in the window (???)
I gotta say, they're cute as a bug's ear!

South Charlotte area
I am usually sitting in traffic through Pineville area on 485 most mornings.
We live about 4 miles south of 485 near the intersection of Rea Rd. and Tom Short Rd. I have been driving out to Gastonia for work so the new south western section of 485 is nice. You can really cruise along in 6th gear.
<begin rant>
Its just the old south eastern 485 section near pineville that is so terrible. I would gladly pay more in taxes to get a few extra lanes in this section. When you think how many people waste hours every week just sitting and puttsing along.
<\end rant>
Anyway - I see a few Mini's around the south charlotte area and also at the Saturday get together at Hendrick. I did see a Red MC with white top at the Costco on Tryon and parked next to him the other week.
I saw/waved at another Red MCS just merging onto 77N from 485W a few months back.
