Just wondering if anyone in the Carolinas have upgraded their stock radio (head unit). Found out that my 2002 is not satellite compatable and I'm looking for a 2003 on.

Anyone?

edit: Or a good junk yard that's parting out MINIs?

 

Check on eBay.. There's been a couple on there in the past.. Also check with CharlesT. I think he has some kind of fancy DVD player in his MINI somewhere, I think where the head unit was..

 

Nothing on eBay, but thanks. I will keep looking...


Oh, and nothing in salvage yards either.

I saw you posted over on the marketplace and looks like you might have one.

I did the same thing with my 02 headunit. I was lucky enough to find someone to swap even with. I went with the MINI Sirius setup. I have XM in the wife's SUV and like both.

I just PM'd the guy that responded to my post. He didn't give a price, and he is all the way out in California. Maybe he will cut a deal.


We will try to make it to the dealership Saturday, but I have some leaves in the yard calling my name. I have tried to ignore them for the last three weeks, but I'm starting to loose our Sheltie when I let her out to use the bathroom...
