I thought for this month's meeting we would have a dinner and a drive through the Chick-Fil-A Alltel Pavilion Celebration of Lights.
It's a 2 mile drive around the Alltel Pavilion with 200 displays with 600000+ lights.

Admission is normally $15, but there is an online coupon to get $5 off.

I was going to bring a MINI disguise kit, and then no-one would have known the difference....

Ofcourse you can still come for the meeting and we'll leave your ToyoMINI at the restaurant for the drive. You can ride in another MINI I'm sure. Mine may be full, but if not you're are welcome to ride.

I assume that the celebration of lights drive-thru was reschedule due to the weather this past Thursday? Are we now talking about Thursday, 12/16/04 at 6:30 at the Crossroads Ruby Tuesday?

 

I always thought it was scheduled for the 16th..

 

The get together has always been the 16th....and it looks like the weather is going to cooperate....other than being a bit on the nippy side!

 

Can't wait to get out and see them! Hopefully traffic won't be as bad as it was in Charlotte! OUCHIE!!!! Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Yes, we are meeting at Ruby Tuesdays in Crossroads, Thursday, Dec 16th @ 6:30pm.

It should be a nice cold/clear evening.

I'm thinking of decorating the MINI for the drive. A few lights around the roof and some garland ought to finish it off.


BTW: The Triangle Area M2C2 meetings have always been on the 3rd Thursday of each month for 2004. Next year, I think we have majority agreement to hold meetings on 3rd Sunday.
