Could be a fun event to attend. Did anyone go last year??

Margie and I attended last year. We had an enjoyable time both in getting lost, sorting it out and drinking wine at Westbend Winery. There was a great mix of people and I believe about 45 MINIs. The Tar Heel club did a great job of organizing the event and getting it started on time. If our schedules permit we will likely attend this year.

Will have to wait for the event to get nearer. Maybe in Colorado during this time period.

The Band of Oz will be performing this year!

MINIpalooza 2011 has some great news! The event this year will be held at a new location along with with even more things to enjoy over the weekend.

This years event will be held at Shelton Vineyards in Dobson, NC on September 17th & 18th. Only 30 minutes from Winston-Salem. Day one will start off with a 2.5 hour drive through the mountains north of the Triad and end up at Shelton Vineyards around noon. We will then have a cookout at the vineyard.

The CONCERT! This year at MINIpalooza/Shelton Vineyards the “Band of Oz” will be having a concert starting at 5pm after our cookout. What a great day to end day one! Ticket prices for the concert are being discussed now and I’ll update you ASAP.
Day two will be at Virginia International Raceway and sponsored by FLOW BMW/MINI. More info to come on track time and parade laps.
Hotel information is being gathered now and will be posted ASAP.

Registration is open! Please attend if you can. This open to any and all MINI owners

Wife and I are attending. Might bring the kids too, not sure. 2 for sure maybe 4 attending.

My name is Shawn i'm in the Greenville-Spartanburg erea i've only had my mini a couple months will there be a caravan leaving for the Minipalooza.

We will be there in 2 Mini's since we are a 2 Mini family since Monday....

I signed up awhile ago... bringing the family. Can only attend Saturday.

We should try a see if we can get a group to meet up @ Concord Mills or something and caravan up?

I am up for a meet that will go to the drive before going to the vineyards. Sounds like a good idea to me.

anybody got details on hotels and timing; i.e. where does Saturdays drive start and when? Would be coming up from Columbia Sat. am.

Mac I am going up for the drive and then to the picnic. We could meet up here and convoy to the drive.

Sheroyn and Jim will be coming up in LilMax Sat. am. We'll join group at vineyards for cookout and concert. We're staying at the Hampton in Mt. Airy since Dobson was sold out. Looking forward to great time.

Anyway to still order T's or get on list for 'extra's'? Need one small and one large.
