Hot Springs Rally
Okay, all, for those from the Charlotte area that would like to caravan to Asheville, we will meet just off I-85 at 8:30 Saturday morning, and will leave at 9:00 sharp. Location is as follows: headed on I-85 south just past I-485 (west of CLT Airport), there's a truck weigh station on the right. Get off the next exit past the weigh station, exit #27 to Belmont, and turn right at the top of the ramp. There's a BP Station there. We'll meet at the BP Station, and again, we'll leave at 9:00 sharp!! See you then.

Ben, We'll be coming from Columbia. Do I have the right address for the GPS: 7 New Leicester Hwy, Asheville, NC 28806? All roads are open between here and there aren't they?? (you're before the rock slide?)
We have been chomping at the bit to tackle some good twisties ever since LucyGoose got a new engine last fall. She should be in fine fettle tomorrow.
This will be a nice break from taking care of diabetic cats and semi-neurotic mini dachshunds with ADHD.

Last minute celebration for my son's promotion so we will not be back in time to hook up with the Hot Springs run. Alas! See everyone soon at the Dragon. Hope everyone has a blast today. Sharon and Floyd
It was a great turn out of MINIs and a beautiful day for the drive. Met some new folks and old ones as well. The food was good and the drive home very nice. See ya at the Dragon. Doc said he misses everyone but has really been busy and called me on the way home. He will be at the Dragon for sure. Thanks to everyone who participated, I think I counted 16 Minis and 21 or 22 people ran out of fingers and toes? Fantastic job of putting this together Ben!!!!!!!!
Ben, great job!! I'm so happy I was able to participate this year. This was an all around enjoyable day. The weather, the folks, the route, the lunch, on and on!! Hope to participate in another one like this soon!!
Great rally, Ben! A perfect cool weather day in the mountains....great friends, old and new....twisties....and I do mean TWISTIES....and MINI's! It just doesn't get any better than that! Life is good in a MINI!
Really enjoyed the day. I am all ready for the Dragon after that run. I think it would be great to get a club going in our area of the state. Let me know what I can do to help push this along.
Don't forget the Chimney Rock Hill Climb on the 22nd of May. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone again. Take care and happy driving.
