Hello all!!! I am moving to Charlotte in mid-late July. I am a http://www.chicagominiclub.com Chicago MINI Club member looking for a new crew. Do you have a regularly update website or are you just here on NAM? When is the July meeting / event?

Hi and welcome! If your looking for a new crew M2C2 is the place for you!!! We are very active, and in the process of having a new website built.. so for now you can find all our events on NAM. Normally there is more then one meeting/event a month. There is always something to do! If you have any questions throw me a msg or post them here, someone is always around to help answer.! Welcome to the Queen City, Just in time for our usual heat wave, it came early this year. Go to m2c2.org and for all our events click on the NAM FORUM. We have chapters in Columbia and Greenville SC. Also in Asheville, Hickory, Raleigh and Charlotte NC. The Charlotte group has a meet n eat the 3rd tuesday of each month and one saturday morning breakfast and from there we go to dealership and hang out and talk to potential new Mini owners and just help sell cars. We have the only dealership that actually stands behind our club 100%. Example they are paying our gas and hotel accommadations for MTTS. We have 13 Mini's and 17 people going. We also help them with Mini Motoring Hearts, New Car Show downtown in the convention center. We have Car Show twice yearly at Lowes Motorspeedway which we have 20 cars and they give 5 Trophies out. We are always looking for new members and if you like to do drives, charity events this is your home. We just gave the speedwaychildrenscharity a check for $2,000.00. Looking forward to meeting you at some of events and when you get to Charlotte just email us if you need anything, we will be glad to help. Luther (Luke) Shields, President Mini Motoring Club of the Carolinas. m2c2.org

Something has come up and I'll have to go stomping around Columbia all day the 21st. I should still be able to make it to the meeting but it's possible I might be a tinsy bit late.

I don't think we'll be able to make it in time for the meeting, but we would definitely like to join you all for dinner!

Edit - Can we do that? I don't see us signed up yet so I was wondering...either way, we're planning on dinner at Haus Heidelberg! (roadodendron & myself)

Trainmama and I are tentatively planning on attending. I remember eating there after one of the first organized club runs 5 years ago! How many people in this picture do you recognize? Here's a clue: I see two past prez's.

Still tentative here, leaning more towards being there than not. It depends on how my sprained clutch leg is doing.

Greetings M2C2 Members,
We are new to the MINI Community and M2C2. We enjoyed meeting some of the members in Miami this past weekend at MTTS. If it is not too late we would like to motor up from Aiken, SC to attend the Quarterly Meeting. We would also need directions to the resturant.

Thanks, Jimmy and Melissa aka 2MINISCHNAUZERS

It looks like my work schedule isn't going to work out at all for this one, please delete me (looks like the reataurant count shouldn't change as Black Max has 2 that will just replace my 2 so it oughta work out!)

Looks like Floyd and I will be tied up with our son arriving tentatively at 4pm in Asheville (Ben...hold onto our laptop in case we don't make it). Anyone interested in welcoming Josh in from Iraq, just give me a call (828-606-4122). The airport is only 30 minutes from where the quarterly meeting is being held.

Welcome and glad to hear that you are making the trip up.

Please use this link for your directions.

Of course, if you know another way to get to the interstate from Aiken, you can use that, but Google is pretty good about getting you there the best way.

Just got the first stateside phone call from our son arriving from Iraq. He's arriving at the airport in Asheville early (11 AM) so I may be pulling up for the meeting with him on his new Harley (if he gets it today); otherwise, I'll see you guys for Trace's 4th of July party. Floyd and Sharon

Finally on line again? Thanks for everyone who came to the Quarterly Meeting. We were expecting 18-20 and 28 showed up and that was great. We had a great German Meal and the meeting was great. We now have the approval to re-vamp our web site and make it more user friendly. We also have some folks who want to start a chapter in Augusta/Aiken SC area and we hope that they do so. Congradulations to all that won door prizes and who came out to support our club. Remember we will be needing at our Annual Meeting 4 Oct a CEO, President, Vice President, Charlotte, Greenville and Hickory VP's. You may nominate yourself or someone else to run for these positions. So if you think you would like to help the club please let me know. Luke, lame duck Prez.

So far so good.. I gave you too many clues.

That's George's ex-MINI parked front and center, too.
It's BB (Before Bling).

There's also our first club VP in the pic (tall guy in the middle with a plaid shirt)
