I haven't tried it yet, but my 7 year old daughter and wife are going to start looking for stuff, they both got really excited when I came home with a gps unit.

I've done it a few times. Kinda fun but I'm really not into the geocaching "culture".

I have a Garmin hand held from a year or two ago, and a buddy in Atlanta who's fanatical--I've never done it b/c I'm a slacker, if you guys get it going on, I'll try it.

What the heck, I'm signed up for a Zumba class on Wed! (Look that one up and you'll really get a laugh!)

<Pushes plant aside, takes puff on cigarette> Veeerrryy Iinntterrressttiingg!
(If you're young, ask your parents, ;-0 )

As it just so happens, I'll be in VA in June on a BRP trip. So, if you want, I can run it up there?

<hijaak continues> OMIGOSH! I thought I was the only who still said that. Problem is, I'm starting to look like him!

<hijaak off>

I may have missed the point, thinking I'd deliver the travel bug...Is the idea really to stash the Geocache somewhere for the next guy to find it and take it closer/to VA?

BTW, <meandering again> this reminds me a little of the Flat Stanley's I do every year. My sis-in-law is a teacher and there's always at least one kid with unknown/uncooperative relatives, so I'm the proxy Uncle and take Flat Stanley on adventures, car related adventures mainly...

I've been geocaching off and on for some time. I have over 100 finds; it's a lot of fun and a great way to see places you never knew existed. We could line up 10 or so sites and make a MINI run at it.
