I am still coming and I am going to try to leave charlotte early friday morning to be up there for some of the late morning activities.

I can bring a tent. do I need to do that since I will be showing up so late?

Ruffcat how many sites do we have and how many people are staying? How many are allowed on the campsites and if we have enough space for a place to cookout etc.

 

If you guys have any room, I am trying to take to the boys up on Friday (if I can get a couple bugs in the car worked out.) I havn't made plans yet on where to stay but have been kicking around the camping v staying somewhere a bit from the festivities (nothing like waiting to that last minute.)
Also don't know if anyone is driving out Friday... I'm trying to work out a route that doesn't include having to drive 80mph+ as the classic gets a little unhappy with those speeds .

I am arriving Friday morning sometime with a friend (so, two of us arriving Friday morning and staying through Sunday am). We are planning just to plop down but we can bring a tent if we need to....let me know.

Ok... I have the 5th wheel. I have 3 people from AZ that need a place to stay. They are going to try to find somewhere else but if need be they will stay with me. I will be coming up on Wed and Bob will come up on Friday.
Still sketchy on details but thought I would at least give you this much...

I just found out that I need to go to Peoria on business. I will be out the whole week of MOTD . I only get in at Midnight on Friday evening, so it looks as though MOTD 2008 is not going to happen for me this year.

I desperately want to be at the fontana village campsite but couldn't manage to get reservations anyone think they could let us bum a spot with them? It would be 4 very nice teenagers from 18-20 years old. Please pm me if you have anything you could help us with!!!!

 

I will keep you all posted but things are changing for us.... Our truck is having issues so I am not sure if its going to be able to make the trip to haul the 5th wheel. I will let you all know soon.
I made reservations at Fontana Village Resort just in case.

Im getting a bit antsy about camping... I have 5 sites reserved.. and people are cancelling. . Im going to get charged $50.00 for each site I have to cancel. So if anyone else needs a place let me know.. We all talked about this back in Nov.. and now.. I have a feeling this is going to cost me alot of money.

I'm real sorry Carol. My dads truck had an oil spill last night and now there is a ticking noise. Bruce is going to look at it for us and let us know if its a major thing or not. You have Mini7 on your list but check down about 3 or 4 posts... he is cancelling. I will, and I know all of the others, will help offset the cost so you will not be responsible for all of it!!! Anna was at the meet n eat last night. I don't know if anyone talked to her about it but I am sure she will read this and let you know. See you soon!!!!

Sweetheart. We could never let you and Chantrelle [and David] get shafted. Trace and Bob may need to use my camper. What ever we need to do we will roll with it. Perhaps we could go to Sharon and Floyd's house and get enough styrofoam to recycle and raise some club cash if needed.
