EUROAUTOFESTIVAL OCT 19-21
Great time and weather at the EUROFEST. Bruce & Art spent most of the day saturday spinning out the Z4M's and off raoding in X-3 and 5"s they also did a little dry to wet driving and both came back with really, I mean really big smiles on their faces. They set a record with more than 500 cars, and had to put some in the parking lot spill over. At least they didn't turn them away. They were still tallying to see if the Austin Healey's broke the Triumph record set last year with 107 triumph's, I know they were close. We had over 40 Mini's in attendance with Bill *** taking crowd pleaser award with his 2000 original Mini, Bruce took 2nd in class in Original Mini's and with Cooper S, Luke 1st place and Dr Art Payne a well deserved 2nd. If you missed it try to make next year as it will probably be bigger and better. Does anyone know who took 1st & 2nd in Cooper's? The PA system went out on our side of the building and we never heard? Luke
Does anyone have any ideas on why the pictures in this thread are not showing up for me? I have tried changing the security settings, but can't seem to find the right one. There are several other threads that I haven't been able to see the pictures as well.
Dave's pictures on Page1 don't show at all, but his pictures on Page2 do.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
BTW - Sorry about the off-topic post.

I have the same problem sometimes, but its just my poor knowledge of how to operate the computor, what I usually do is ask the wife and she pulls them up somehow???? I don't have a clue sometimes! Luke
There were only 4 Coopers registered, ergo, no second or third place..
2006 Cooper, Chili Red with Silver roof and bonnet stripes with no mods from Tenessee got the prize this year. Pretty car. The owners said they had a 4 hour drive to get home. The results should be posted on the Eurofest website soon.

Trainman, we just don't know. The sound system went off and we didn't even hear them call our names, until someone came up and told us. I heard the GP won something. The Original Blue Cooper got Crowd pleaser and Original Brown took 2nd. The Black Woodie won something? I know the Cooper from Tenn, but never heard the rest of the winners due to sound system down. I would like to know myself. Wonder who I could contact at Euro to find out?
Hey Dave nice pics.
I went by and forgot my camera. Did anyone get a picture of the blue mini with the aero kit? I forgot who owns it and wanted to find out where they
got their aero kit painted.

I guess I just wasn't paying enough attention, I thought it was an aero kit on a R53 that was parked just a few spaces to the right of the tent that Carol was hiding under. I'm told that to get the side skirts painted on a pure silver is near impossible to get a match. Does anyone know a really good painter?
Check the eurofest website (Link on the first post on this thread) They should have the results posted by now.
