They Took Jeff's Mini E Away!

Heard a guy, Jeff U'ren, on the radio. He said was all set to get his Mini E, he had spoken to the dealership and they had set a time for him to come in and get his car the very next day.

Later that day he got a call from the dealership saying he wouldn't be getting his car. That he had been removed from the trial program for the new Mini E.

He said that it was because he wrote/said something bad online. I also saw this in an LA Time article.

Is this true? Why would BMW be heavy handed in this?

Perhaps true, but what a strange first post.

I would have to agree........

I asked too many hard questions. They never told me why, the MINI-E Team had the dealership call me, but I guess they just want Koolaid drinkers only. So no BAD feedback.

Jeff,

IMHO calling the rest of us Kool-Aid drinkers isn't a good way to gain acceptance of your positions vs BMW. We are never going to hear more than one side of this story over and over because BMW isn't talking. Let's move on and discuss the MINI E.

That's a shame. If BMW/MINI is to try and win over people to thier new cars, silencing constructive criticism isn't the way to go.

Sorry GoDucks, I wasn't calling anybody anything. I was just guessing what BMW's agenda might be. Yes, you will only hear one side of this because there seems to be only one side. What do you want BMW to? Say Jeff is right or wrong. They won't do that. Are they suppose to defend their retaliatory actions to you. They won't. They stone-wall. That's all you'll get. Few OEMs will play the consumer's game. Consumers have to play their game. Take or leave it. We are BMW. So I'm guessing the BMW feedback from this trial will be "proprietary company information", so we will never know. BTW. I'm saying all this to hopefully force them to be more transparent. Honest that is with use. I'd like to see your $850 a month reap something meaningful to the public in the long run. Not just another token program that fades away.
Thanks,
Jeff
