I have a 06 Mini Cooper S. I came to a stop after driving on the highway and my car starting to act as if it was stalling. I turned off the car, then I pushed the clutch in to start it back up. The clutch fell to the floor (no return ) and the car would just stall. I got a tow home and noticed a dark mark (probably oil). The oil is where I think the engine oil drain pan is. I looked under the car and it is pretty black. I need help. Is it the clutch the cylinders or something else? If there is a similar post to mine elsewhere please let me know .

 

The clutch cylinder is linked to the brake system and shares brake fluid.

 

Prolly need a new slave cylinder.
