In the screen shot of your diagram,.. At the bottom it says #18 Holder
#19 ..... Etc

Go back to that page, scroll up to #13, get the part number and name of the part. -That will definitely be a helpful piece to your puzzle.

Thanks for the suggestion unfortunately those two are the only two part numbers available, both Pensky and realoem don't have a part number for# 13... Or any other from that group besides the ones that you see ther (#18 andn19) thanks for the help anyways

It looks like the bracket is for the harness that sits directly on top of the transmission.

Should bolt onto the top starter bolt and holds the wiring harness from rubbing on anything.

It was attached to what I believe were the power cables to the PS pump but now that all is back in place it's hard to tell, I was looking at another R53 and I did t see a similar bracket, his R53 is 2003 so maybe they did not have it.
I did not line up with any of the transmission bolts. There is anther bracket that sits on top of the tranny with one of the bolts is the one were the wiring harness sits and clicks in place. I think that I have another pic. If not ill take another picture from a different angle when I see the car this weekend. Thanks for the input

Thanks Way, it seems that when I took the starter off I did not notice it since I was having such a hard time with the heat shield.
I'm going to have to improvise since everything is back together now lol .
Thanks a lot

That's why we don't take the starter out when we do it, just take the bolts out and leave it there.

Thanks for the tip Way, I'm hoping that I don't have to do this job again lol. I was following various online DIY's some suggested not to take it off others did, I'm surprised that was the only part that I could not find a place for lol, there other things that I labeled but some how the labels came off oopps but I was able to figure them out. Thanks again
