I used to build scale models when I was younger, I sold most of my boxed models years ago. I thought it would be fun to try customizing some of the Hot Wheels I have laying around but never committed to it. Could be a good winter activity when the garage is too cold.
I’m still waiting for an F56 JCW in any color! LOL! Continues to amaze me that nobody has manufactured one yet, especially since the JCW Team in IMSA won Daytona last season!....downright shameful it is!

I am returning to this old thread again because I'm seeing a five car set from hot wheels that includes a new "Morris mini" with fantastic graphics an possibly real rider wheels
. Its hard to tell if it will be the pop off design not.
at 4:32 the mini is rotated and I'm 100% sure that it is a pop off.
edit: Ministry of Diecast confirms in the comments that the top separates from the base.
Every now and then I get a wild hair and look for one of those Kyosho 1/18 Challenge or GP models but never find a bargain --- apparently they're pretty rare and the asking prices are quite high, so much so that it grounds me back to reality with realizing it'd just be a dustbunny sitting on a shelf as opposed to the more practical investment of buying parts for my actual car!
They are lovely looking things though.
Likewise with the Speed Freaks edition "Minimal Delay" from Country Artists designed by Terry Ross --- I like the lively cartoonish aspect and it makes me smile, although I wish it was a different color than black, still pretty cool though...

The enthusiasm for MINIs worldwide has and continues to produce many collectibles of our favored auto marque. It is an interesting aspect of the MINI hobby.
I am fortunate to have one of the Kyosho Cooper S Challenge cars, in British Racing Green. When I purchased it years ago, I questioned my sanity in paying the going price. Today, that price looks somewhat like a good investment.
There are two in my collection that I would like to share. The first is an MG40 special edition. Have attached one photo of the car in its box with the background. The second photo is one of these models mounted for display when I showed the MC40 at a car show. I have an extra of this model if anyone is interested.
The second model is a 1:12 scale from Sharper Image. It is an accurate and detailed model that has function as well. It is a Bluetooth speaker.
