Sorry you guys, I am not good at uploading pics. Can I suggest that you visit my photo gallery. It's the first photo that comes up and if you click on it, it will come up clear & clean. This is a "Cloisonne'" Grille Badge. Heavy metal with chrome and engraved. Looks great

No problem. Just having a little fun. It's a great looking badge. Wish we lived close enough to attend MMMT.

Cool. There goes half my day. They're badges look like stickers, really large stickers. Cool designs, though.

Wow, custom cloisonne -- how much did that cost, if you don't mind me asking? And does that rattle more on the grille since it's so much heavier than the normal badge holder/magnetic badge?

We have them for sale for $35. They attached with a brass stud, large washer, and hex nut. Have not had any problems with vibration or rattle.
If any one wants one you can purchase them at www.redwoodempiremini.com/swag.htm and then scroll down.

For $19.99, I hope they're not stickers. I wish they had better pictures of the designs intead of the little thumbnail size pic.

I like some of their visuals (very funny stuff), but I'm not such a fan of how THIN the magnets are on their badges....

Yeah. I think Cooper Flags raised the bar on that one. I do agree. They have some fun visuals.

It also looks like MINI FINI is offering up some badge holders and badges.

Thanks for the feedback! We recently changed to a new printer in an attempt to improve quality and graphic fidelity. Hopefully, the new versions will meet your approval.

I am curious though, were you speaking of the boot badges or the regular grille badges magnet thickness?

Thanks!

I didn't mean to bash! I was referring to all of the above, I guess. I ordered magnetic badges, although I didn't know there was a difference between grille or boot magnet. I keep them at work.

I ordered some from Cooper Flags and some from Designs for Motoring this weekend (don't tell my wife). I'll let you know how the current offerings compare in thickness, etc.

The Cooper Flags badges are about twice as thick as badges from other vendors.

The grille badges from most of the other vendors (including Designs for Motoring) are all about the same "standard" thickness (but not as thick as Cooper Flags). I'm guessing they're about half the thickness of the Cooper Flags grille badges. (I'm just guessing on the thickness being equal-I haven't measured them.)

The boot badges from Designs for Motoring are about half the thickness of the "standard" grille badges.

FWIW, I have badges from most of the grille badge vendors (including a boot badge from Designs for Motoring) and I can't complain about any of them. They've all held up well on the MINI.

I took advantage of a clean MINI and nice weather to take a couple of pics of my grille badge collection.

First, badges from various vendors along with my own custom badges:

Here are my favorites. These are the custom badges from the Great Badge Swap:

(And for the OC Detailers, the sign is not touching the paint. I was very careful to make sure it was leaning against the plastic trim piece. )

I did not think you were bashing. I was just curious. We offered a really thin magnet boot badge for awhile, but we retired them after the cool boot badge holders came out. No worries!
