May 22 MINI Pieces Rally
 

We're planning up a rally with Dreyer and Reinbold (the local MINI dealership).

It will start at the dealership at approximately 2pm.

A bring-your-own picnic meal is planned.

Probably. Bump day is historically the Sunday before the race. But, they've been changin around the traditional schedule so you won't know without checking their website.

Damn it May is such a busy month. Sherry graduats so I probably should be there in Ky instead. Anyone feel like picnic dinner instead of lunch :confused: ?

I can't wait for the D&R Rally again!!! :grin:

The planned rally will be a fun type rally, covering approximatly 50-60 miles. You do not need to have any experience at rallies to do well. You will have fun just motoring on a Sunday afternoon.:smile:

The route will be determined by following written instructions ("right at Smith St.", etc.). There maybe questions to answer or items to collect at Check Points, that will be used to determine who does the best. There will be prizes.:thumbsup:

Rally Update!
 

The course is set, plans are getting finalized. We think it will be a good time for all. It will be a simple fun rally with a few good twisties and just enough challenge to make it interesting. :grin:

Mark the afternoon of Sunday May 22 on your calender. :thumbsup:

This sounds fantastic but, I doubt that my R/C MINI could go the distance on as single charge! Some day... a 1:1 MINI. Perhaps I should bring it to drive around before you all take off.

We currently have 26 cars pre-registered for the MINI Pieces rally on May 22. If you are planning on comming and have not pre-registered please let us know, it will help us be prepared. If you decide at the last minute to come and have not pre-registered, please come we will be glad to have you there.

Where (and when) will the rally end? I've got a busy day on Sunday and would love to squeeze in a quick run; it would help to know which part of which city we'll park at. :smile:

I have 20+ MINI's registered so far on my 1/2 of the list!!!! This going to be a GREAT Rally!!!! :smile:

My wife and I are signed up. This will be our first MINI outing. We have had our MINI for nearly a year now, and have been wanting to particiapte in a rally since we got it. We look forward to meeting everyone. We'll be in our PW/B MC.
