Wow, that car is beautiful with the black offset by the checkerboard. Man you need checkered mirror caps to match!

VERY VERY NICE:thumbsup:

That is black ... well it looks black to mehttps://www.northamericanmotoring.co...es/NAMwink.gif

really nice. I like that a lot.

Black cars are always hard to photograph well. It seems like the best way is to not use a polarizer so that you do get some reflections off of it. It looks like this photo was taken that way, am I correct?

Thanks David!

You're right I didn't use a polarizer, I wish I had one. :(
A great tool always, but especially when photographing dark cars is the shadow/highlight tool in Photoshop.

that looks real nice, sorry for the hi-jack, but what did you use to drop the car, springs, coil-overs? I really like your car a lot.

Photoshop. ;)

That's what I meant with the title, I'm dropping it after winter, no use in dropping it now.

Just curious, DiD and I have had a dialogue about cameras, which one do you use fj0? I really would like to take pics that would look like this, do you do anything in photoshop to make it look this perfect? OMG, I wish I could that!

Mikey, I use a Canon EOS 300D(Digital Rebel), this shot was taken with the Canon EF 50mm/1.8, great great lense! A must have, best bang for the buck, ever! My usual workflow in photoshop is Shadow/Highlights, Levels, Saturation, Colors, Contrast, of course it depends on the photo.

I usually say that 50% of photography is post-processing.

Junk In = Junk Out

Good Stuff In = The Possibility for Potential

I totally agree. And it's the critical 50% at that.

Yes indeed, you are very right, without good material you can't do much, first you take the photo, then you work it.

I love people that think post-processing is cheating.

Here's the original, untouched, only resized, this was a very good original as well. :)

JMO and you can take it for the two shiney pennies it's worth (if that)

Post processing is where the art happens.
