Hawaii Photo Shoot (19 preview pix, 56k be patient!)

Finally have the time to post these! Awful lighting and not the best of locations to work with (simply b/c a 3am shoot wasn't possible) so we certainly tried to make do with the locations we did hit.

Just want to thank minihune for all the help in getting this setup and for being my tour guide along the way. Much appreciated and I had a blast out there and meeting you all, great fun!

SO, here are the players who's cars are pictured:

i think that's what i get for waiting until the last minute, literally, to clean up my mini...nah, no worries hafid. i really was just happy to be there and see your magic touch. i consider it a bonus for my mini to be in some of those group shots. and great shots, they all were!

next year, again?

awwwwwww!!!!!! Those are soooooo nice!!!!! I wish I could have stayed. But I really needed to go home and get some work done for the auditors and consultants that were at my office over the last couple of weeks. Not to mention my MINI was super dirty.

Although brief, it was really nice meeting you, haf! let us know when you're expected to come back to Hawaii...and at least stay for a weekend next time!

I'm so jealous, these pics are awesome...although I don't think an all-black MC would have been too nice in these pics.

Kohu'ulaMINI looks very nice glad to see you are taking care of that VR. I have left the VR club and gone to the CABRIO 'S' club. My VR/W is now in the Seattle with new parents.

Hafid,

The first one is actually my favorite of the grouping. PW with the cloud reflections just goes very well together, especially in B&W.

In some of the shots the reflections are pretty strong. A circular polarizer would help control that. From what I gather that may not be a very feasible option with your current camera, but when you get your next one, be sure to get a circular polarizer filter.

Great shots are usual, Dr Hafid.

Where were these shot? I recognize the convention center in one of them? But are the rest shot from the Pali lookout?

lower grill

Camelpilot, that's the M7 ultimate black powder coated grill. They also have the matching rear too. Give Peter at M7 a call and tell him Eastsidemini Hawaii send you. Good luck.

If they are out of stock for some reason! I have them in stock with me. www.Eastsidemini.com.

For those who have Peter's (M7) grill, he now has, or very soon will be getting (not certain) the same for the "top" and "middle" front grills above. They are definitely on my list... Here's a fairly close-up shot of the lower one...
