I've voted too. It insisted that I put a comment on every one, which I didn't want to do on some I rated more lowly - so I hope I didn't offend anyone too much!

(I'm in a photography club and you get thick-skinned about some of the judges' comments on photos you spent hours on. The worst comment I received was that my photo had no business being in a competition - gee, thanks!)

So can we order this 2011 calendar? Can't find a link on home page, or anything in marketplace ...

They sold out a little over a week ago. There was a link at the top of the forums the entire time they were available.

They should be shipped out within the next week...they just shipped from the printer today, but with the holidays I'm not sure how fast they'll travel this week.

I guess I missed it too... I check the forums almost daily and never saw it. Figured this thread would have been updated.

Because it was a link, I don't think it came up in the e-mails as a new thread - ie the daily e-mails didn't say it was there. I think.

Yes it was put as an announcement, so that it would show up at the top of all the forums across the boards and above the new posts feed, it wasn't tucked into a thread or forum. There was also a thread in the news forum that displayed on the main page for a period of time, but was removed when the order period was over so printing could begin.

If you would still like one and didn't get to order one send a PM to MLPearson79 with your username and how many, if there is enough serious interest, a second round of printing may be possible, but it would need to reach a minimum count.

This is a group of people that's new to the calendar creation and shipping process that are reviving it, and notes are being made to make sure everything starts earlier and the message gets out better for next year. We're looking for ways to not only make this return, but to be able to make it better and better each year.

Don't get me wrong - I think they've done a fabulous job. I know these things are difficult to do and they did it in a very short time - a great result.

It was just some feedback, and info for amberback. I've now added a subscription to the News forum - that would have covered it!

I was one of the winners, but I guess I was kicked out without notice. I didn't recieve any email asking for my address for my free copy, so I'm assuming after voting my photo was deemed not good enough. Is this correct?

Did anyone see a dark silver JCW in their calenders?

No one was kicked out, relax, guys. The calendars JUST arrived in our hands today, so they have not shipped yet. I was waiting to receive them before sending out requests for addresses, lest they get lost in the shuffle. This was a huge project completed in very little time at all y'alls request and keeping it organized has been 90% of the battle!

Calendar winners should now all have an email in their box requesting the address to ship their free calendar to. In some cases, some of you ordered additional copies so I already have your address, but feel free to respond anyway.

Thanks for the update. Received my request for address, and sent it in. Kudos for getting this done in short order!

No problem. I'm sure you are all as excited to see them as I was when the arrived - they look awesome!

We are going to start a thread shortly for suggestions and things you did/didn't like regarding this year's calendar and process, and we ask that everyone chime in! Keep your eyes open for that thread coming in the next week as people begin to receive their calendars in the mail.

This thread (the original ordering thread) has been kept up-to-date all along...it may have been overlooked though, once orders closed.

With that said, I am going to close this thread so we can route everyone to that thread for information. I've had a few emails indicating people are confused by the different threads (one for calendar sales, this one for voting, and the original one describing the contest).

And of course, if you have any questions, please drop me a PM!
