What happened to all the sunny summer days and blue skies? - or is it just because I'm an Aussie that I associate those things with summer?
All but two of the pictures look to be cloudy and only one has blue sky.
Nonetheless - some really nice pictures - enjoyable to see them.
These are quality pix but none seem to evoke anything that says "Summer". I was sure there would be several beach shots with awesome sunsets (or sunrises), maybe a few 4th of July shots. Nontheless, every photo with a MINI.... is good
Fair point! I used to live in Sydney where smog and summer definitely went together. Completely forgot about that now that I live in Melbourne...

And another fair point! I forgot about tornado season. (They're very rare here, and nothing like the US size.)

Two of them are HDR images, #3 an excellent one - so not Photoshop as such. But I think they all still clearly look photographed, which is part of rule 6. Up to Dave I guess. Nonetheless, a good reminder - I've probably been well outside the boundary on at least one occasion in previous months, so I'll take that on board!
I don't see anything wrong with tasteful HDR or tasteful editing. Some of the past entries were like eye bleeding photoshop insanity though, definitely going out on a limb.

Agreed.
I had a good idea for this topic, but ran out of time!
