The Official RANDOM photo thread!
Thanks pw4!
Looks like Gromit801 is as anxious as I am to get out to the track. HMSA is racing at Laguna Seca this weekend; check hmsausa.com for more details.

A couple of flying things
Fire-fighting chopper.

F/11 1/400
Sea eagle.
This was a "shoot-&-hope" photo. I was taking something else when the eagle flew over. My settings were roughly OK, and I had no time to adjust anyway - I just panned with the eagle for a single shot. Not super-crisp, but not too bad in the circumstances, I think.

true..........he was pretty tolerant of me
That is sweet looking. I'd say for your first attempt not to shabby lol. I've never been there but that shot makes me want to go waste money
I took them from the South Rim, in Arizona. Today I remembered that over the summer I shot a bunch of panoramas when my father and I went to the Grand Canyon. I dug through all my files and found the photos and picked out the ones for the panoramas. I was very happy when I found them all, haha. A standard photograph comes nothing close to portraying what the Grand Canyon is actually like, but these panoramas are a lot better.
Random stuff from over the years.

A few from a very large, free, monthly gathering of cars in the streets of downtown Jefferson City, Missouri.

Bugatti Veyron spotted while driving back from St. Louis. Guy driving it was cool. Romped on it a few times. Soooo sexy.

Some from a late season auto-x in southern Mo.

That seems random enough for now.
