Milwaukee MINI's MINI Monday

Hello fellow Milwaukee-area MINI owners!

The Milwaukee MINIs are having their 1st MINI Monday meet-up on June 12th at 7:00PM. This month, we are meeting at Oscar's Frozen Custard located at:

2362 S. 108th St.

This is located next to International Autos. Stop by, meet some fellow motorers and their MINIs and partake in some frozen custard goodness! :D

Photos

We did take photos, but I didn't have a chance yet to post them online at http://www.milwaukeeminis.com. We've got a fellow MINI'er re-tooling the website, so once that is complete sometime this week, check back for photos!

We had 13 MINI's, and no ice cream drips. At least, not on the cars.

I've got some that I'll post here (they're on the lap top but I only had a few good ones so I want to touch them up before posting and one NAM member keeps reminding me of reasons to tinker under the hood) soon.

Hey, do any of you take your mini's on tracks, and if so, where? I'm in Fond du Lac, and Elkhart lake is right up the road, but the only open track time isn't really open--it's set with a pace car. It's still a blast, but it's very limiting. Is there anything close by that's less restrictive?

Good Fun

There are a couple event around.

I havent had a chance to do any this year, but in years past I have attended a lapping day @ Shawano. http://www.usainternationalraceway.com/trackmap.php
It's a go cart track. Not that fast but very "curvilicious" . Looks as thought the Fox Valley Sports car club is having an event. http://planet-torque.com/sche/detail.php?eventId=2304 this summer.

There was an event earlier this year w/ http://www.madisonsportscarclub.com/. @ Blackhawk. http://www.blackhawkfarms.com/
If you get a chance to do an event @ Blackhawk, it's worth it. I missed this event. http://www.madisonsportscarclub.com/...-02.7979161673

There is an event coming up w/ the BMW group. Listed here http://www.milwaukeeminis.com/. @ blackhawk. Not sure If I will get to it. Fastest speed I hit was about 100 on the straight when I did an event a couple years ago.

Good luck.

I took video of the events if you want to see shoot me a pm and Ill see about emailing them.
