Please send out your prayers for 'rfish93705' Robert had a heart attack but he is OK

I am currently on the phone with Robert's wife. Robert had a heart attack Tuesday morning. He is currently doing well and in Fresno Heart Hospital. Please put out your prayers, he is doing fine, the procedure was a 45 minute procedure, he is doing well and 'should' make the next meeting. I will wait to let Diane tell her story of why they were BOTH in the hospital ER with Heart Attack symptoms, but all I can say is it is an ironic but eye opening experience for them both. (me as well) Keep the prayers out for both of them. Here is a pic from this weekend of both Robert and Diane!

I talked to Robert last night and I am very glad to hear he's doing well. I certainly wasn't expecting him to answer his phone while laid up in hospital, though!
If you're reading this Robert, we're all looking forward to seeing you at Porky's on March 10th, for our next mtg. Until then, be well!

Thanks to Everyone.

I want to say Thanks to everyone for their postive thoughts and Prayers.

They worked!

I was released and sent home Thursday evening. Under the circustances, that's pretty darn good. I had angioplasty and a stent puy in place. So I'm good to go.

Diane and I appreciate all of the support of our friends old and new. Especially the folks from across the country.

I encourage any man out there to get their cholesterol checked and especially get a stress test. Do this before you have an attack and damage the heart.
Your family history plays a greater part even if your numbers are good.

"Let's Motor and Keep 'em on the Road"

Best regards, Robert & Diane Fischer.

blacknblue 03-05-2006 04:08 PM

Hey Robert, good to hear you guys are doing good.

I hear ya about the cholesteral and stuff. Just last month the doctor told me I'm in bad shape- hypertension, high cholesterol levels, stress etc.

Take care man. See you on the next run.
-Juan
