Hey everyone, I finally got to pick up the Mini Cooper S I have spoken so much about. It arrived on Saturday night and picked it up early on Sunday at the terminal. I drove it back from Fresno and now I know why there are so many Mini enthusiasts. It felt pretty quick for bieng a 4 cylinder and feels really racy with the supercharger whine. The roll bar looks extremely cool mixed in with the contermporary cockpit design. I hope to see all of you a the meeting at Porky's but I may head out to Northern California for my first long drive. I'll definitely meet with you guys for a some events and runs in the near future. First I need to register and insure it before the real fun begins, take care everyone.

According to the official rules and by-laws of MidCal MINIs (Article 3 sub section 2.1, paragraph 6, line 4) the most recent owner of a newly acquired MINI must buy the first round of beer at our next meeting....That would be you, buddy!

I really like the Alta cold air intake because it is foam and I can save money by using my ATV filter cleaning kit. I cannot say I am too disappointed because the car came with a BMP pro mini intake. If I have some extra cash lying around I may change over to Alta, thanks.
