Let's Motor to Morro Bay - June 26th
 

He All,
Wanted to get this out early so all that are interested in it have enough time to plan!

WHEN:: Saturday, June 26, 2010
WHERE: Meet @ Starbucks, Shaw Ave.and Fwy 41 in front of the Ramada Inn. 9:00 a.m. (sharp!) departure.
Returning later that afternoon.

We'll go from Fresno to Morro Bay for lunch. Restaurant location can be decided that day. Please make suggestions for a restaurant if you know a good one. We'll take the twistier route, Hwy 41 the entire way. Be advised, the first hour or so is pretty darn boring, but once we reach the Shandon turnoff, the road gets a little curvy for a more exciting drive.

Wow I am looking at the people count for this run. It is great!!!!!! I am going to need to make a reservation for lunch though I know Jim (clubman) was talking about a place he knew of (what was the name of it) and Kevin said Dockside. We have about 30 of us going about 16 cars! Depending on if anything comes up between now and then will give us the final total. Remember those walkies and we will see you on Saturday @ Starbucks on 41 and Shaw. Departing 9:00 am!

I live about an hour south of MB would you mind if I showed up and met you there?

The restaurant I go to in Morro Bay is the Outrigger (833 Embarcadero, 805-772-8473). Some friends and I go there on motorcycle rides from Bakersfield and back (they have designated motorcycle parking spots across the street - but that's just a bonus). The food is good and reasonably priced.

We're really looking forward to the trip!

Okay I made our reservation at the Outrigger. The only thing is some of us will have to sit in the main dinning. The room there for lager groups only seats about 30. I set up the time for 1:00pm. I can move up the time if we would like tomorrow. I didn't want to push too much. Please let me know if you have any complaints or any thing!!!!

Fun times :thumbsup: We had 15 cars show up. Lost a few after lunch, but the rest of us had a good, WARM time in SLO town :lol: We then lost three more at Hwy. 101 and 41, but hooked back up on 46 :nod: The three cars that came back on 41 had a awesome ride :grin: That Corvette that came up behind Suzie got a super surprise when we took off and couldn't keep up and finally just stopped :lol: :thumbsup: Seeing Suzies face when we got to 46 was worth the WHOLE day :lol: :lol: Thanks Tina for setting it all up :nod:

Oh my gosh I didn't get any of the replies! I would have loved to have gone,looks like you had so much fun and I'm so sorry I missed it :sad: If your ever this way again I will show up!:thumbsup:
