MidCal X-mas party - 12/13 (Sat.) @ 6pm - Vickiey & Michael's place

Alrighty gang, it's almost time for the uber-cool MidCal X-mas party. It's going to be this next Saturday at Michael & Vickiey's place. We need a head count on how many people will be able to make it. RSVP is required for this event, so post-up!

I've included a poll to see how many people would like to try to drive Christmas Tree lane before the party.

MINI hostage - subjected to costume torture?

Sounds like a "MINI napping" may be called for. And to make the torture worse, we must also place a badge on the car for all to see...... (evil laughter and rubbing of hands together). Fracky, you divert Ken's attention and we'll do the rest!

I found this motoring badge on cooperflags.com. They have other christmas ones too!

Might just possibly be able to make this event. I would not be able to arrive until 11pm at the earlyest. will you all still be partying? If I am able to make it I will definitly require at least floor space to crash. If youall will be going strong at that hour I will try and make it over.

For those of you interested, Christmas Tree lane is from 6-10pm. Traffic is northbound only so if you'd like to drive Van Ness together let's setup a meeting spot. Cars enter at Shields & drive north to Shaw. Old Fig Christmas Tree lane.

Kikimowse Dec 9, 2008 07:05 AM

What about the parking lot of Gazebo Gardens? If memory serves me right, it is on the corner of Shields and Van Ness and just after you go under the subway underpass, litterly just north of Gazebo, the lane starts. According to their website they close at 5:30 on Saturdays. There is also Manchester at Shields and Blackstone which is not too far away with a much larger parking lot.

Midcalers, count me in for the party and run. I will do all I can to make it unless I get caught up at work. Has been really busy lately:mad:

Would be great to see you. Hope you can make it.

Long time no talk. I will try and make the party. Doing Xmas tree lane the next weekend with my girls.
Its hard to do the night of the party, due to the time it takes. Most of the time we meet at Starbuck's, Fresno and Shaw.

It's good to see you back online:thumbsup: Why don't you drop by and have your side skirt put on so your MINI doesn't look so unfinished.

Kikimowse, sounds like a great idea! Let's meet up at this location at 5:50pm & then we'll mob down X-mas tree lane like it's going outta style.

Here's where we're going to get together.

Does that mean the Christmas party is not starting at Vickiey's at 6:00 pm? I'm not going to abuse my clutch by slipping it for and hour straight. It's not gone yet, but that might put it over the edge.

Christmas Party

We'll be there, too - Art & Nancy. Currently camping in Pismo Beach, but will drive back and Be There! Hope to meet up in time for the Christmas Tree Lane parade.

Well that might be a good thing   I'll come down and help with the install of your new flywheel and clutch that have been sitting on your desk for the past 6 months

The wife has a reunion thing going on Saturday night, so won't be able to make it. I might stop by just to say "Merry Christmas"
