Little bit OT here...
With regards to Car Washing... Has anyone ever had any issues with bonnet stripes when using the high-powered sprays at the car wash? I'm not referring to the "auto car wash", but the type you pull into the bay and hose it down. (Feel free to pm me so we don't clutter up the thread with this topic...)

Back OT:

Still planning on meeting at MAG @ 8am, correct? We plan on being there!

I use the spray wash on both my MINIs, especially now since the bonnet stripes have been on the cars for awhile. They also rest on top of the ClearBra, and even then, do not pull up.

Ditto... no issues with spray washing on the stripes. It doesn't really get the car CLEAN, but it's better than nothing sometimes, when you can't get to a proper bucket-washing.

ON Topic

Hey THANK YOU everyone. We (Mowse, Wellzy and moi) had a great time. They can post for themselves later I think they may be napping. As usual it was worth getting up at 5:30am to meet up with you guys!!!

Thanks Crashton for the drive after to get the world famous bologna sandwiches!!! Hopefully we can get a meeting half-way for both groups one weekend. You guys are always welcome to join us the second Saturday of the month at Panera's, check out the BRM forum.

Thank again. Kim

ps - Grayson (sorry if I spelled his name wrong), next time pull my name for a prize. Mowse and Wellzy each got one and that is all I'm gonna hear about.

I posted some pics:

I thought it was a great turn out! It was great to meet everyone finally, although I am jealous most of you have the "S". See you motoring!

Pictures from MAG's MINIs grand reopening

I'd like to say thanks to Eric Maxwell & his team for inviting us to their grand reopening & letting us kick tires & do test drives in JCW MINI's. Also thanks for the breakfast spread too, that was unexpected & very nice.

It was good seeing such a nice turn out of MINI owners. Did anyone buy a new JCW yesterday?

Here is a link to pictures from MAG's event & our drive up to Waldo.

I know Brian had a gleam in his eye after we remembered to test drive with the Sport button on!

Thanks Chuck for the pics. I wish I went to MAG, but Rick and I were navigating the various suspension bits under my R56 that morning.... By the way, was there a morning breakfast over at Tim Hortons this past weekend (I was locked in the "tower" at Buckeye Yard all Saturday morning)

The breakfast at Tim's was moved to MAG for this month.

Heck even that night owl Ted got up early & went to Tim's. Only to be told by Aaron he was in the wrong place. Ted & Michelle then headed for Dublin.

How are you liking the new suspenders on your MINI?

Nice pics as usual Chuck (& Barbara). Food was great after. Spawn really missed some fun. Thanks for making Team BRM feel welcome

Perfect timing on the "action shot" on the way to MAG

I talked to the banker after the test drive and was informed that I was not pre-approved for that type of purchase and that there would be non-financial consequences as well

If you buy that new JCW you should also buy a nice comfy sofa to sleep on.

Looks like a good time had by all! Wish we could've been there, but the recent lack-of-sleep set in Sat morning and the alarm was shut off! Hope to see everyone soon.
