See you guys in the morning. Allan, It's only 150 miles or so. You will be fine. If not we can test out MINI's road side assistance.

No, you'll be fine.

An old racer, rally & beater driver trick. If it gets hot turn the heater on. I think you will be fine. Make sure to sacrifice a donut to the coolant leak God's.

I couldn't agree more!

I do have a question for you Chuck....when you and Barbara were rallying did you ignore her directions then? I can't believe her co-piloting could have been the cause for the missed turn today.

Why yes I did. That is why I perfected my handbrake turn technique. We missed 2 turns today. Guess you only noticed the missed one onto Cemetery Rd. I also missed the turn onto Carr Rd. / 94, but did a little impromptu reroute on the fly.

Great seeing everyone today. I'm glad you enjoyed your selves.

It was also great to meet all the new people today and realizing that two of them are basically my neighbors.

CHKMINI told me he was gonna do the drive partway and then swing down to his son's ballgame in Newark.

Great time. Sore shift knee. Dirty car. My copilot caught a few LAME moves, but who cares?

Many thanks to Chuck and Barbara. It was great! Wonderful following Chuck and Tom who, although we weren't racing.... set a good pace for me!

[QUOTE=IMGRFX;2175471]Great time. Sore shift knee. Dirty car. My copilot caught a few LAME moves, but who cares?

I'm a little sore, too. Think I did some damage to my wife's chronic back condition but she is being a good sport. Don't think she realized the G's even a plain vanilla MC on all-season tires can pull. And I was holding back compared to a few runs I made by myself in the Allegheny Mountains of Western PA. I'm convinced the car's handling limit are beyond mine (and its stock engine).

Nice pictures btw.

Ready to go AGAIN?

Ok, we caught up on some sleep, and we're ready for round two!

Many thanks to Chuck and Barbara for the AMAZING route and scenery! The Amish high-light was the 6-train draft horses plowing the one field!

It was great meeting everyone (again) or for the first time. The biggest problem with yesterday was it made me want to go to the Dragon even worse!

All day yesterday we were saying how great this area would look in the fall...Autumn Amish Run FTW !

Once again, GREAT run Chuck! Let's see those pics!

What a great day. Thanks to Chuck and Barbara and all the other owners who came out for some safe fun.

For those who want to go to the Dragon, but don't want to drive that far Chuck or I can put together a nice Salamander route here in Ohio. Chuck we need to pick our favorite salamander:
