I just learned that the classic Mini group is meeting TONIGHT at the Tommy's Pizza at Lane and Northstar at 7:00PM. Sorry for the last-minute warning but I literally just learned about this myself. I'm seeing if I can go in Fiona, but I figured I'd toss this out in case anyone's been wanting to see some classics.

It's called COMO [Central Ohio Mini Owners]...just an FYI. They partner with the club in Dayton, so each club meets separately. If they are like the Dayton club, bring your wallet, your appetite and your thirst, cuz it's an eat, drink and blab affair.

 

Yep - they meet for pizza and conversation. Sounds perfect. I believe it's a monthly affair - I'll get confirmation on that and will add it to the events here if so. I get the impression that they're pretty die-hard about the classics (I've heard there's some Mini/MINI snobbery out there) but I'm going anyway.

 

I belong to the Dayton club. The Columbus crowd comes over to Dayton the first Tuesday of each month for pizza, beer and talk at Donato's, on Airway [by the Air Force Museum]. We all mix well...a Mini is a MINI is a MiNi...ya know? If there are any in the Columbus club who don't mix with new MINI owners over there, it's their own damned fault.
