Hello all, my name is Katie and I live near Annapolis, MD. I just took delivery of a loaded S this past Thursday and have already put over 400 miles on it. WHAT A FABULOUS CAR!!! I ordered it in March, and altho' the wait was agonizing, it was worth it. The car's dark silver, with black roof and black rally stripes. I would love to be part of any planned or spontaneous Mini gatherings in the Balto-D.C. areas. Please keep me posted (kgdblu@speakeasy.org). I hope to meet some fellow enthusiasts! :smile:

 

A crew over on the MINI2 site is organizing a "lap" around the Balmer Beltway on Saturday, Aug 10th - with crabcake lunch.

Nice to meet you Katie. Please check out our Capital area MINI club. We have already had a meet in Annapolis a few months back and have more events coming up. The picture on the front page is of 4 of our MINI's on the wharf in Annapolis, in the bus loading zone. We drew quite a crowd and the bus drivers didnt even seem to mind!

Welcome, Katie! In addition to the Baltimore Beltway lap there is a meet and greet at Fort McHenry in Baltimore on the 17th, a DC meet and greet on the 24th and a potential meet and greet on September 7th in Calvert County that I am currently trying to organize with another esteemed Mini owner.....Hope to see you out! Congrats on your new baby...I just picked mine up on Saturday!
