6SpeedOnline European Car Meet - August 14, 2004

6SpeedOnline European Car Meet – Saturday, August 14, 2004
WHAT IS THE PLAN?
Plain and simple.....show up, meet some great people, see some great cars and have a casual lunch.

We are spreading the word to the Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, BMW, Audi and Mercedes Benz communities.

The hotel has three restaurants inside ranging in venue from casual café to elegant. Attendees are encouraged to do their own thing, meet, talk, eat, etc., etc. It will be a relaxed and informal atmosphere. We expect a boatload of cars and the hotel has ample parking for everyone.

WHERE IS THE MEET?

The meet will assemble in the parking lot of the Sheraton Crossroads Hotel on Route 17 in Mahwah, New Jersey.

Hmmm... I'm thinking about bringing both cars up to this one. Just have to get myself motivated to get them both detailed for the day.

Robyn, let me know when you start your work. I'll come over and keep you company and detail my car(s).

You shouldn't have so much work to do on Nittany, considering what you just went through. Congratulations!

Thanks Michelle. I'll give you a heads up when I think I'm going to work on them. I'm heading out to PA tonight so it sounds like Nittany is going to get rained all over on my trip. So much for being sparkling clean.

O.K., Robyn, sounds good. Can't show up at the European Car Meet with a dirty car!

You're working on a pre-run in PA, correct? I'll be going to Hickory Run State Park Sat. or Sun. to check out the teardrops. I've been in contact with the organizer of the event, and he's invited me to their group breakfast. Food? I'm in!

Very cool! Have fun. I'll have to check out that link at lunch.

We're heading to Shankweiler's Drive-In (www.shankweilers.com) tomorrow night with John, Leslie, Steven, Deana, Dan and a few others if you're interested. They're running Around the World in 80 Days and The Day After Tomorrow. We're meeting at Valley Pizza on Rt. 309 in Orefield around 8pm.
