Ah yes - Seafood Yummies!! :smile: :smile: The DC METRO MINIS upcoming event is a short drive to Tim's River Shore in Dumfries, VA along the banks of the river.. :smile: :smile: There will be 2 meeting places for a drive to the restaurant. The first will be Sterling MINI leaving at 9:30. We will meet up with the rest of the crowd (via some twisties) at Krispy Kreme in Alexandria located at 6332 Richmond Highway - it's right off 495. We will leave Krispy Kreme at approximately 10:30 for a continued drive to Tim's. :smile: :smile: So you can meet us at either place - :grin: :grin: We should arrive at Tim's around 12:30... For those who aren't too crazy about seafood, Tim's also had great burgers! :smile: The views of the river are great, and you never know what you might see happening on one of the many boats anchored in the cove! :wink: :wink: You can check out Tim's website at http://www.timsrivershore.com. Come on out and enjoy the day with lots of your MINI friends. Let us know if you are coming - we need to let the restaurant know how many people to expect. Hello Everyone!
From your new friend up North (Philadelphia) I want to thank you all for your warm hospitality, and for teching me the true art of Crab eating!!! I had a great day, and it was great to meet so many wonderful people. Made it back to Philly in around 4 hours!!! How do you people around DC put up with that traffic!! Thanks Paddy for letting me follow behind so I didn't get lost!
