Hey Chobe, Mexminime, Checo and everyone else..
While we're waiting for the next official Meet here in Mexico, I say we should get together one of these days and organize a tiny "breakfast meet" with all of the forum members and anyone else that you know of with a MINI.
We talked about it a while back, and I think we should do it!

If anyone's up for it, I say we set a date and plan it!

I'm in for it. Christian, pick a place and date. I suggest a saturday in a MINI friendly place....

I am sure I can drag some other 5 or so MundoMINI pals to the gathering...

Cheers!!

Sound OK to me let’s do it this Saturday. I think we should start by giving ideas of a good place to have breakfast.
1.-La marquesa.
2.- Restaurante las Caballeriazas (Lugar de Elegancia Huixquilucan)
3.-A good place with a lot of parking space is Garabatos Santa Fe (Just an Option).
4.-Hacienda de los Morales

Good suggestions!
A place with safe, visible parking (preferably not valet) is definitely a necessity.
La Marquesa sounds interesting considering the long, entertaining drive to get there.. ( I think a MINI "caravan" is a must!)

A few other suggestions I can think of:

-El Caballo Bayo (La Herradura)

- ok, never mind I can't think of anywhere else right now..

I'll give you guys a call during the week to try and set a date, as Chobe said, this Saturday sounds good..

-Chobe I lost your phone number, give me a call or send me a PM so we can get in touch..

I´m on. We could make it this saturday, March 29th.

Las caballerizas sounds like a good idea, the parking lot is great (not dusty) and we can meet in Santa Fe and then drive all together in a caravan. I like La Marquesa but it´s most suited for a Jeep meeting, since it hasn´t rained and it´s really dusty.

There´s also a little cafe in Santa Fe called Jiornale in front of the Sheraton where they have a nice round parking place and offer outside seating to see the cars. It has valet but I could probably talk to them and negotiate to get the space for us. It can probably fit 7-8 Minis.

ok
I think that las Caballerizas is a great place we can Meet in Santa fe or Interlomas and drive down to the restaurant, also mexmini youre idea in santa fe sounds good can you check if we can get a good parking space in the restaurant.
So if all you Mexican Mini lovers can join us this Saturday 29 please write down in this post so we can know how many of us are going to have breakfast.
Cheers.

las Caballerizas souds good..

The only problem I see with "Giornale" in santa fe is that it will probably be dead on a Saturday morning, considering that most of the business it gets is from UIA students and executives that work in the area.
I may be mistaken, though, since I've never been there on a Saturday morning.

Whatever the final decision, I'll be there!

I'll try to get in touch with everyone during the week..

I´ll be eating today at Jiornale´s so I´ll ask the manager, will also check out if the place is dead on saturdays or full of old ladies.

Otherwise we can just pick a meeting place and drive in a caravan to Las Caballerizas, or meet over there, which ever works better.

OK
People from México MCO, I think we should meet this Saturday 29 al the parking lot at Burger King in Interlomas at 9:00am to go get some breakfast to the caballerizas or at Jiornale´s at Santa Fe.
This is a good point to meet so we can have a good drive.
Hope to hear you’re opinions.
Thankyou
Chobe

Chobe, that seems like an excellent plan.
Although I must admit that 9:00 am on Saturday morning sounds a little early...If everyone is in agreement to this time, however, I'll make a sacrifice!...

You can count me in, Burger King parking lot in Interlomas on Saturday at 9:00am (unless anyone else would like to make it closer to 10:00?) ops: zzz

Hi guys, back in track (my baby was born this week and have been way busy..)

I don't mean to disturb Calvin's plans, but 9 am may be too early for a saturday, specially if we consider that some of the MundoMINI guys will be coming from southern Mexico city...

How about meeting at 11:00 AM at Interlomas Momentum BMW (everybody had breakfast earlier) and waiting there until 12:00. After that, we drive to Caballerizas and stop for early lunch there? If we are enough, I might convince the dealer's manager to hold a raffle for some MINI accesory...

Cheers!!!

BTW, I just put up a meeting warning sign in MundoMINI alerting others of this "informal" gathering...

Cheers!!!

AAAHHHH YES!

11:00 am sounds much less painful than 9:00, that would work much better for me although if Chobe can't make it that late, maybe we should compromise and find something in between.

In my opinion, lunch would be even better than breakfast, although I'll be there either way.

BTW, congratulations on your new baby, although I must admit I'm not sure if you're talking about a human child or a new MINI!!

So where´s is it going to be, Burger King or Momentum? Actually where is the Bking and the BMW dealer? Right in the Interlomas Mall?

11:00 is fine with me but no later because I have a lunch meeting at 2:00 back in the south (san angel)

Just confirm the place and I´m there.

Mexmini Momentum BMW is behind wall mart and Home Mart, next to the Renault car dealer.
Mexmini Im going to send you a PM with mi cell phone, call me if you need any kind of instructions.
