Hi, I have a 2013 Countryman S that with a footwell module that's not working. I heard you fix these. Can you please let me know about your service including how it works, price, and timeline? Thank you.

Hi, I'm having a weird problem with a replacement ECU in a 2009 Clubman. I Googled the fault code and I landed on this thread from another member with almost the exact same problem:

    https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...me-issues.html

My car is also a manual transmission and may have received a donor ECU from an automatic. You had offered to use TeamViewer to check the vehicle settings and possibly change them to clear the fault. Is that offer still on the table, although my errors are slightly different:
3099 No Message EGS, Receiver DME, Transmitter EGS
5DF3 DSC Interface, DME/DDE Signal Fault

Please let me know if that's something you'd be willing to do. Thanks!

Hello, I think I need help with FRM module? I was at work and apparently my wife left the key in the on position and killed the battery. Neighbor gave her a jump and the car started - but now both front parking lamps, left side marker, left tern signal and right tail light are always ON (regardless of key in the vehicle) and turn signals not working / fast flash on dash only. I tried unhooking battery, I tried resetting ECM (code 21 reset procedure) and banging my head against the wall. I'm a carguy but not a mini guy so I need some guidance. Please shoot me a message or call if you can help. I'm in Maryland. Thank you! -Andrew 443-988-3413

    Hey MiniToBe,

I have had someone suggest going to you for some help with my FRM Module.
I unhooked the battery doing an intake manifold cleaning and when I hooked it back up the frm was blown. headlights and taiights always on, no fog, no interior, no tach or speedo, windows lost function ( actually caused my driver side to shatter), no turn signals/emergency.
I pulled the FRM doesn't look to have any water damage.
Was hoping you had any suggestions or could provide some help in getting it reflashed/recoded?

    Let me know your thoughts,

    Tyler

    Greetings,

I don't get on this forum much, so I'm not sure how long your friend request has been lingering.

I am wondering if you know anyone in the Philly/South Jersey area that might want a free pair of black cloth non-heated seats from a 2008 Clubman non-S. The passenger seat sensor was shot triggering the various warning lights on the dash so I bought a pair of used seats from a 2013. Because the seats were not an exact match, I had to mess around with the wiring harnesses and seat belt receivers, so these free seats are not going to be much use other than for perhaps the airbag, but I don't have any idea if it's even possible to swap that without ruining the seat.

    Thanks,
    Fred in So. Jersey

PS. I think it was you who helped me code the footwell module years back(!) Thanks for that - it's performing perfectly.

MiniToBe has helped me repair my 2007 Mini Cooper S numerous times. From something as extreme as a total engine rebuild or completely new suspension, MiniToBe's work and communication are amazing every single time. I feel much more confident going to MiniToBe for repairs than I would going to a shop. Top notch all the way around!

    Hey MiniToBe,

Thanks again for all the support through this process of coding the car. Your knowledge in minis and coding of these little beasts is invaluable. Thank you for following up by teaching me and for walking me in this learning process in which I am now. Thanks again bro.

Just wanted to say thank you again for helping me out of the sticky situation with the coding. I don't think at this point i would have been able to have figured it out by myself. Car is Back to running great and being able to see all the gauges. Next stop, to see why it keeps burning up spark plugs so fast. ( 2000 miles and they are toast.) But thats for another day.
