Hi, How you doing?
I own 2016 MINI Cooper S F55 without paddle shifters) and no launch control.
1) So EGS has something to do with Sport AT, BDC_Body might be dealing with paddle shifters and KOMBI might have something to do with displaying Launch Control on the instrument cluster. I don't know if I am correct
2) Since my car doesn't have paddle shifters, will enabling them "for the future" cause errors on the dash?
3) I am going to provide a YouTube video link where a Russian guy is coding Sport AT to his F10 BMW. He didn't go to each CAFD name/folder and didn't code FDL.
- Instead he erased 205(regular AT) and just typed 2TB(Sport AT) in FA list and so on.
It is easier to code as he showed, but it changes the vehicle options(VO) which will be different from the factory options and user may run into issues if dealer would ever need to update software on that car?
