Anyone know of a local place that can tune a N18 engine? I know of a few places in the country, but you need to ship them the ECU and that is not really an option for my daily driver...

Not to sound snarky but I said local. Only one of those places in that thread is "local" to MA, and the thread states that shop does not tune N18 engines.

I am asking for other places. Ones that tune other vehicles and may not to be at the top of the list for MINIs.

 

As someone who not only created that thread (little outdated now) and been looking for the same, I have yet to find anyone local to Boston or MA at least that can. Still seems like sending it out is your best bet.

 

I was showing the thread because it gives you your answer. No, there are no local tuners like stated above. You have to send the ECU unless you want a RaceChip. There is a whole thread about that too.
