We've had to duck out the past couple of weeks, but all is well and we should be making an appearance this evening!

...for those who are interested, I'll be bringing the fried piston from Max's old engine, in case anybody is curious what a ruined OEM MINI con rod bearing looks like!

Oh, one last thing: if anybody happens to know of a good local body/paint shop, I'd really appreciate if you could pass that info on to me- Max's face looks like a pimpled teenager with all the rock chips, and I'd like to treat him to a 100K mile paint restoration. None of the shops I've called are willing to discuss quotes or rates or anything!

I just heard from Bob H at Heritage Farms and wanted to send out feelers re: MINI Night in Lowell this summer.

I'm wondering if every week was a bit much for people, and if we might get better turnout if we made it once a month -- say, first Wednesday -- starting after Memorial Day.

Yes indeed.... There should be a separate thread for 2013, however.
Officially we meet through the Wednesday of Labor Day week, but folks are welcome to keep showing up as long as the weather is nice.
