FS: 2005 MCS, mostly bare model w/LSD
FS: 2005 MCS, mostly bare model w/LSD
Mainly testing the waters on this one: I'm going back to school in the spring to finish my degree, and will possibly need something a bit less expensive, so I'm trying to see how marketable my MCS is. I don't want to waste anybody's time here, but even though I'm just testing, I will NOT turn away someone who wants this car. If it sold and I decided I could keep it, I'd just order another.
Anyway, It's an '05 MCS, all equipment listed in my sig, has about 9,600 miles on it as of now. Mostly highway miles; the car sees a 50-mile round-trip at 55mph 5 days a week, plus a couple of town miles a day. The stock tires are in excellent shape, since I've had aftermarket wheels on the car for over 7,000 miles of its life. I would even throw in the aftermarket wheels in on the deal.
Price: $22,500 o.b.o. This IS below my payoff.
Area: Anna, IL; just south of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. I
also work in Carbondale.

It's just not a good deal. Curse of the high resale value! ;-)
I bought my '05 MCS five months ago for $25,000 (26k and change with tax). It's specced similarly to yours: CR/B with cleather (ploth? cloth/leather) seats, sport package, premium package (minus the auto a/c; saved $50!), LSD and rear fog.
Your car's sharp and I'm sure it's been babied, but the price differential isn't huge between yours and an '06 that could be delivered in 2 months.

Also, R84's are V-spokes, not Webs.
But since you don't really need to sell, I suppose it's safe asking for a higher price. You never know.

That's what I'm kinda going for. I know that some people 'just have to have that car 'cause it's so cute', and aren't willing to wait 6+ weeks. And sorry, I've always heard R84s referred to as 'webs'. If I'm wrong, then what are webs?
Oh, and the dealer did a pretty ****-poor job of the delivery detail, so the car is actually cleaner on a daily basis than when I got it.
