WTT: HB MC/MCC/MCSC fuel door for chrome MCS fuel door

I'm looking to trade my chrome MCS fuel door for a Hyper Blue body color fuel door, which is standard on all MCs, MCCs and MCSCs. The chrome fuel door is unique to MCSes.

Reason for trade? I just don't like chrome much, I'd rather have the "conservative" look of the flush body color fuel door, that's all.

Please let me know if you are interested. Clearly only '05 models apply here, since Hyper Blue was only available since '05s (Indy Blue is a slightly different color, wouldn't look right on my car).

Thanks. I was thinking even trade, including shipping etc... and we'd just agree to the same shipping method (whichever it is).

FYI, an MCC or MCSC WILL NOT accept a standard S fuel door.

Don't forget that if you're in New York and the person you're swapping with is in California, that there will be several days that neither of you will be driving--not sure how safe it would be to drive without the filler door in place!

That is--you got to remove yours, pack it up, send it out, wait for trade to arrive--and vice versa.

Well here a good writeup on going from MC to MCS cap. Yeahm, maybe you can just remove filler neck and hinge assembly and keep door open (unlockable) for the time being. Never tried.

This is another TO DO on de-chroming my car. Just have to figure out the door handles and the drip molding under the windows. and its all done.

Well, I have a HB/HB with chrome package, Look at my pix, it looks pretty cool, but again that is my personal thought. Anyways, I got the aero grill and now decided on the aero kit, and at that time (next month), will decide if I should keep or de-chrome the car. It is debatable, a little chrome really adds a rich look, but on the other side I truely hated the chrome grill on my Mini.
