ballpark price for R98's with <10 miles

I'm looking at purchasing a Cooper S with the JCW package here in Canada. It comes with R98 two-piece rims and performance runflats (not sure what brand/model), but I'm really more interested in lighter after market wheels and grippier tires so I'd like to plan to sell the R98's right away. I've searched here and on mini2 and can't find anyone who has sold R98's. Just wondering if anyone would care to guess what price I might expect to get on NAM, mini2, or Ebay to see if this makes sense. Thanks for the help,

What are the R98s?
Are they the new Web Spoke Wheels?

Yeah, R98 = 17-inch 'web spoke' wheels

R95 = JCW 18" wheels

I'd say they're worth about $10 for the set. . .but I'll make the supreme sacrifice and give ya $25 for 'em.

Just kiddin'. . .really, I don't have a clue what they'd go for, sorry.

Bill

(But if you ever DID decide to take $25 for 'em, I'll be here!)

In forums, you should get between $500-$700 but try EBAY.. I've seen some go over $1000.

Thanks for the info. Wow, that's quite a bargain at $500 to $700. Maybe this doesn't make a lot of sense since a set of new wheels and tires will run to at least $1500. And thanks for the offer, Bill - so far you're top bidder on wheels and tires that I don't even own on paper!

actually depending on how much you want for them I could be interested.
I want something a little snazzier than the S-Lites I have now.
